How long is a class?All Body Barre classes are 50 minutes.
What should I bring to class?All the equipment will be provided for you. You may want to bring water and a towel.
What should I wear to class?Please wear workout clothes that are comfortable to move it. You can wear Barre socks (socks that have grips on them) or go barefoot. No sneakers are needed for Barre classes.
How soon after I start with classes, will I begin to feel stronger?Everyone’s body is different, but you can notice results within 8 - 10 classes. For fastest results, you may want to take at least 2 classes per week.
Can I cross train with Body Barre?Yes, absolutely. Body Barre develops a great fitness foundation. In class, we work on cardio endurance, strength conditioning, core stability and flexibility.
If I am pregnant, can I still sign up for a Body Barre class?Yes, please inform the instructor before the class starts that you are pregnant. The instructor will provide modifications as necessary. If you are over 20 weeks pregnant, please consult with your physician before taking any Body Barre class.
After I give birth, when can I join a Body Barre class?You can start with a Body Barre class six weeks postpartum. If you had any complications during your pregnancy, please consult with your physician before taking any classes.
